Moving offices from our much loved home with our adopted family at Adtec in Rosebery Avenue since 2003 was much like moving out of your parents home for the very first time. It was hard to break the ties but we need to develop our identity and become truly independent. There were tears, hugs and goodbyes but of course not forever. No one makes Sunday roast quite like mum!

It all started with a visit to the Waterside project on wharf road back in June 2010. A great gallery space in an old Victorian building and a perfect fit for NirvanaCPH.

After a change use was granted through the lovely people at Hackney planning office, work begun in early 2011 on turning Waterside from a shell into a fully functioning studio.

A year in the making and since May we happily live by the canal. As always there’s still work to do but phase 1 is complete.
