It's Nirvana, Fashion Week
London Fashion Week is one of the highest profile fashion events in the world and one of the “big four” international catwalk influencers. An event of this magnitude provides an enormous platform for businesses worldwide, including us at Nirvana.
Just so you understand how big the event actually is here are a few quick facts and figures….
- 68 catwalk shows and 37 presentations to take place over 6 days
- Over 5,000 visitors are expected: buyers, TV & Radio crews, journalists and photographers
- Media coverage equals or exceeds most major news and international sporting events and surpasses over £100m in the UK and £53m internationally
This is not the first time Nirvana has been involved in LFW, and not only does it give us the chance to display what we do, but also gives us an insight into the trends of the coming seasons and allows us to be a part of that. Keeping fresh and up to date is what gives as an advantage over our competitors, not only in the fashion world, but also across all the creative industries.
Displaying our work on such a huge platform invites people into our world, allowing them to ask questions like “what could Nirvana do for me or my industry?” “How could they help to put my ideas into action?”
This is just a taster of some of the work we at Nirvana produced for LFW…

- Giles Deacon Invites
- Daks invites
We also did Burberry show invites, wristband, seating cards, seating plan. Backstage posters for the show – hung where models are dressed and are used for press and media prior to the show as an insight to the latest collection.
Various Backstage shoots for Daks, Mario Scwab and Burberry SS12 Backstage runway.
Being associated with the brands listed above helps to enhance what we do. The new face of Burberry, Rosie Huntington- Whitley best described Burberry as being “British, Stylish and Traditional but always with a twist”. This is not only evident with the fashion but also down to the smallest things such as invites for the show
They explored different routes of how the invite would transcend and appear, but ultimately it is still recognizable as Burberry with the trademark print.
Giles Deacon is another designer with which we worked with to produce invites (see image), taking the designers playful and confident style, adapting the trademark sunglasses into a dazzling mask.
Once again portraying the different type of work we here at Nirvana do, really showing to clients that we are capable of anything.
