The V&A are currently exhibiting ‘David Bowie Is‘ a retrospective of the exceptional career of David Bowie, with over 300 objects on display set against a backdrop of music videos, photography and film.

Each room reveals every stage of Bowie’s life, you learn more in depth about his other personas Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and Major Tom, his interest in the arts and Andy Warhol and those iconic costumes.

There is a very personal touch to this exhibition with handwritten lyrics, sketches and visuals, it truly is an enjoyable experience.

Something you may not have known….

During the 90’s he used a programme developed in San Francisco called a Verbasizer – here he would enter sentences in to the system which were thencut and placed in to different columns, resulting in a combination of interesting sentences.

The exhibition continues until 11th August 2013.
