Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall, the creative duo behind the Chaos brand launched a new project at the end of 2017 called CHAOS SixtyNine, a brand new type of magazine featuring over 100 photographs which can be pulled out and used as posters.
Inspired loosely by Route 69 this biannual publication embodies the journey of its collaborators, ‘its a vehicle for creativity for the all the people we have worked with over the years, to have the freedom to shoot concepts that support unusual casting, students, shoots that don’t even have to include fashion at all,” says Stockdale.
The launch issue featured 5 limited edition covers, contributors include Nick Knight, Martin Parr, David Bailey, and Mario Testino while support has been garnered from Princess Beatrice, Georgia May Jagger, Nadja Swarovski and Sarah, Duchess of York.
The Nirvana team were asked to manage the creative production of the magazines, careful testing was carried out to ensure the perforated pages allowed for clean removal of the posters. Printed on 350gsm Lumina’s Silk for the covers with perforated internal pages 25mm in from the spine. The Chaos logo was foil embossed in a range of colours vibrant reds and golds and silver holographic which changes colour as you move the cover, keeping the sense of playfulness which is synonymous with the brand.
