Paris based studio ArtWorkLove commissioned Nirvana to work on a project for Champagne brand Krug. This was to produce a bespoke, sleek USB stick for an imminent press launch. With the brief to deliver a tactile, premium device, we used our cardboard engineering department to develop a number of prototypes.

We eventually decided to produce the USB keys from nine layers of Colorplan paper, bonded and die cut to fit the USB chip. A top layer of board was foil blocked with Krug branding, with a snug slip case produced from the same materials.
