With their instantly recognisable footwear designs, Vans blends high fashion with timeless classics, constantly evolving their designs and perfecting their footwear construction for optimum performance. This year Vans launched a brand new shoe targeted at top athletes, offering advanced technology- the ‘UltraCrush Lite’ midsole which is designed for ultimate impact cushioning and unrivalled durability.
The UltraRange Pro was designed to suit the versatility of an athletes lifestyle and all the moments travelling between skating, surfing etc. so as part of the launch Vans decided to produce a seeding box, stylishly presenting the shoe and a branded water metal bottle and penknife to reflect this lifestyle and ‘Get There’ brand message.
The Nirvana team managed the creative production of the presentation box, using Colorplan Dark Grey paper over board, fully lining the inside of the box for a sleek finish. A clear perspex panel was constructed at the front of the box to create a window revealing the iconic waffle outsole of the shoes and a dividing board was position to create two compartments inside, separating the bottle and penknife from the footwear. A foam inner layer was constructed with a recess cut out for both the bottle and penknife to hold them securely in place when in transit.
