The Ned a joint venture between Soho House and New Yorks Sydell Group, transforming a former Midland bank into one of Londons most desireable hotels ‘A historic building reborn in the heart of the city’ .
At 320,000 square feet, it’s home to eight restaurants, a spectacular rooftop bar overlooking St Pauls, a subterranean spa and 252 rooms ranging from £200-£2000 a night.
The spectacular history and architecture of the building has been honoured wherever possible, with the 20 tonne vault door now leading to a lavish cocktail bar, and the grand banking hall open to the public for dinner and drinks.
Nirvana were asked to develop and produce their exclusive members box. The box needed to reflect the quality and prestige of the hotel, using a rich dark green fabric wrapped over board. We developed a bespoke lid and base box and the delicate hand drawn border and branded designs were applied with a gold foil emboss. A foam inner layer was developed to protect and house the gifts inside, a beautiful cut glass cocktail shaker and exclusive members book.
We also developed a card wallet to house the members card and book, careful colour matching ensured that this was the same iconic shade of green as the box with the same gold foil embossed branding. To create a more tactile opening experience for their members, extra detail was given to the fastening of the card wallet, using string and a card button to wind around and seal it.
