On the occasion of every World Cup and European Championship for the last 14 years, we have teamed up with our good friends at brand design agency Studio Blackburn with one aim in mind: to create football tournament wall charts that stand out from the crowd. And this year is no exception. Drawing inspiration from the Panini albums of our childhood (and, in some cases, adulthood too), this year’s chart comes with a pack of stickers for each nation participating in the tournament. Leave it blank or lose yourself in a sea of colour: the choice is yours.
To celebrate the launch of this stickered sensation, and in anticipation of Europe’s finest converging on France this summer, we held a launch party last Thursday in the canal-side courtyard at our north London HQ.
With England versus Portugal on the big screen, Piebury Corner supplying a selection of their finest matchday pies and more than a few bottles of Super Bock, it was a chance for those in the creative community to converge and pick up their copy of the Euro 2016 Wall Chart. And despite a stiff northerly breeze, it was a roaring success, capped by Chris Smalling’s towering header in the dying minutes at Wembley.
Weren’t able to make it on Thursday? Not to worry – we’ve got a selection of the best images from the evening for you to peruse below. (All photography courtesy Dan Weill.)
