AEG are the leading global sports and entertainment presenters and AEG live is responsible for events such as Coachella and Rockness and in 2013 were commissioned to host the first ten day festival in Hyde Park, London. The event, called British Summertime, included performances from The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi and Lionel Ritchie.
Nirvana Studio worked in collaboration with design agency Them Design, who are experienced in festival projects having previously worked on the Big Chill and Bestival, to create the logo design and hospitality invite pack.
Each invite pack comprised a matt laminated outer box, lined with black kraft paper and printed in six colours, including Fluro, which was screen printed for a superior finish. Inside each box was a woven 2 colour wrist band that was silk screen printed and laser printed with a unique reference, a set of matt laminated cards and an edge-glow acrylic lanyard which was laser cut and laser engraved.
We also produced three versions of a larger outer box to hold multiples of the invite pack, which each box having interchangeable inner platforms to accommodate a number of variants of the smaller box.
