Our brief was to develop and produce the packaging for Daphne, a perfume created in a collaboration between Comme des Garçon and Daphne Guinness.
We partnered with the design studio StudioSmall on the project who created the identity for Daphne. After researching different material combinations, we duplexed Flaxprint and Colourlux to produce packaging material reflecting the product’s brand values. This combination achieved a visual and textural contrast when the pack was opened. Following tests involving foil blocking and screen-printing, we litho printed the Flaxprint to brand the packaging as this gave the best result. press kits were also produced using the same materials and processes.
