The Institution of Practitioners in Advertising, more commonly known as the IPA, has provided thought leadership and professional support for those involved in the creation and production of advertising and marketing communications for almost a century. Founded in 1917, the body has successfully disseminated its advisory services from its London headquarters to agencies and organisations in more than 60 countries, with the aim of promoting the value of its members, celebrating excellence through its IPA awards programmes, and generally identifying the advertising sector as a force for good in society.
Earlier this year, we were asked to produce 17 bespoke awards to celebrate the membership milestones of a selected group of the IPA’s affiliated agencies. Each beautiful piece of solid polished acrylic was adorned with a flood printed vinyl on the reverse, colour-matched to the IPA’s own Pantone, while a clear vinyl was digitally printed before being applied to the front. The solid blue back wall of the clear block creates an engaging visual effect, inviting you to address it from multiple angles to understand its construction, and making the award a striking addition to the trophy cabinets and mantelpieces of the lucky recipients.
