CHEERS TO THE BEAUTIFUL GAME
EURO 2024 BEER CHART
Solutions Involved:
Nirvana CPH have collaborated with Studio Blackburn once again, this time on a project that celebrates the synergy between football and beer: the 'Beer Chart' for UEFA Euro 2024. This concept merges the excitement of the tournament with the enjoyment of a custom beer experience, designed for football fans who want to mark every round with a refreshing drink. The wall chart, a longstanding tradition in football culture, has been reimagined with a unique twist—paired with a beer crate housing seven collectible beers, each representing different stages of the tournament.
The Beer Chart concept is refreshingly simple but clever. For every match your team might play, there’s a cold beer waiting in the custom-designed crate. Whether your team progresses or faces an early exit, the beauty of the concept lies in enjoying the games regardless of the outcome. This blend of practicality and playfulness reflects our commitment at Nirvana CPH to create designs that not only look great but also enhance the experiences of those who interact with them.
One of the standout features of the project is the attention to design detail. Each beer can features a bespoke label inspired by the 24 participating nations, offering a unique memento for every round of the tournament. The inclusion of stickers adds another layer of engagement, encouraging fans to personalize their experience.
Beyond the product, the Beer Chart has also made an impact through the special event at The Volley pub in Shoreditch, where we transformed the space into a hub for both football and creativity. Featuring large screens and exclusive artworks designed for the event, it became a vibrant meeting point for football fans to gather, share the experience, and enjoy the beers brewed specifically for the occasion. For us at Nirvana CPH, projects like this go beyond design—they are about bringing people together, creating memorable moments, and celebrating the shared passions that unite us.
