Nestled on a working estate of over 30 acres in the heart of the Somerset countryside, and offering beautiful gardens, woodland, farmland and cyder orchards, The Newt is more than just a hotel. It’s a place to escape, unwind and reconnect with nature.
Since its launch in late 2019, The Newt has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s go-to destinations for laidback luxury and local, seasonal food and drink, sold through its on-site restaurant, The Botanical Rooms, and via its direct-to-consumer online shop.
Ahead of the 2020 festive season, our Insight and Production teams partnered with The Newt to develop and deliver a range of hampers befitting the quality of its produce; think handmade mince pies, sweet Stollen and locally-grown pear juice.
The centrepiece of the hamper was The Newt’s special Christmas pudding, contained within an artfully folded, origami-style wrap made from Paptic Tringa – a lightweight, durable and recyclable material made with wood fibres from sustainably-managed forests.
